The 2016 open inspection period has begun. This is the time when any property owner who does not believe their property tax assessment is fair and equitable is encouraged to conference with the PVA. Open inspection concludes with the close of business, Monday, May 16.
Assessment notices begin arriving in mailboxes on Friday, April 15 for all property owners whose assessments changed in 2016 from the prior year. It is not a requirement that you receive an assessment notice in order to discuss or question the assessed value of your property, but you must initiate the conversation no later than Monday, May 16.

Athenian Grill, known for its authentic Greek cuisine, is expanding its business to include baking. The owner announced that Athenian Bakery should be open by mid-August, joining with the 109 N Locust Hill restaurant location.
