100 Valvoline Way - Valvoline Headquarters

Valvoline, which was spun off from Ashland Oil in an IPO late last year, dedicated its new world headquarters at 100 Valvoline Way today. Valvoline and Ashland Oil have called Lexington home for over three decades and employ over 1,100 Kentuckians.

The Summit at Fritz Farm

Honeywood, an American Bistro, the much anticipated new restaurant by five-time James Beard nominated chef Ouita Michel, opened Wednesday at The Summit.

The next opening is Shake Shack on Thursday, May 11.

Andover Golf and Country Club

Andover Golf and Country Club, after having closed in February, was purchased by its mortgage holder, Whitaker Bank, at Monday's Master Commission sale for $2.95 million - its future is unclear.

478, 480 Squires Road

After a public hearing with overflow crowds, the Urban County Council voted to approve a zone change for a proposed Ball Homes development on 90 acres (The Peninsula) bordered by Squires Road and Lexington Reservoir #4 (Lake Ellerslie).

3280 Versailles Road - Youth Sports Complex

A proposed youth sports complex on 134 city-owned acres between New Circle, Versailles, and Parkers Mill Roads is back in the news. According to the Transportation Cabinet, the project would require widening Parkers Mill Road, due to the increased traffic flow. The site is still under consideration by the project planning committee.
