A gourmet burger and beer restaurant, Jax Burgers & Brews, opened on Thursday at Lexington Green. Located at 161 Lexington Green Circle, the restaurant specializes in burgers, local craft beer, and hand-spun milkshakes.

377 399 Rose St – BurgerFi

A new high-end burger restaurant will be opening in the Coliseum Plaza near UK’s campus. Located at will occupy the space that was formerly held by Campus Café and Sweet Mango. will also take a part of the Coffea space, though the café will remain open despite earlier reports of closing.

815 Euclid Avenue – Bear & The Butcher

A new restaurant will be opening in the space formerly occupied by Art Bar. Located at , the two-story building will feature a full bar downstairs and an atrium as well as a two-sided bar on the top floor. menu will feature craft sliders, a large variety of craft-made sausages, and Lexington craft beers. 

858 East High St – Louie’s Wine Dive

A new restaurant will be coming to Chevy Chase, opening in late fall at . Opening its first location in Kentucky,  will move into the spot occupied most recently by the Macho Nacho. Louie’s will be open for lunch, dinner and brunch on weekends. Louie’s offers a menu ranging from snacks to gourmet burgers and many different types of wine. 

2529 Regency Road Suite 104 – R&D Indoor Comfort

has now had the official ribbon cutting on their location. R&D Indoor Comfort HVAC Contractors specialize in heating, cooling, and refrigeration to Fayette and a number of surrounding counties.

107 West Main St – West Sixth Greenroom

West Sixth Brewing has announced that they will open the at . The smaller site, that will include a nanobrewery, is expected to open in May – just in time for Lexington Craft Beer Week.

367-375 E Main Street – Field & Main

A five-story mixed-use building is planned to occupy the property at . Formerly the location of A1A Sandbar, the development plan will tear down the existing building and replace it with a new structure. According to the plan on file, the first floor will house businesses, with condominiums on the upper four floors, and a 52-space parking garage.

109 N Locust Hill Dr – Athenian Bakery

known for its authentic Greek cuisine, is expanding its business to include baking. The owner announced that should be open by mid-August, joining with the restaurant location.

1224 1228 Manchester St – Pepper Distillery District

Two new businesses are set to open in the distillery district. The first is the opening of third Lexington location at The new locations will be a 4,500-suare-foot pizza restaurant that will include a “speakeasy”, similar to their Cincinnati locations. The second is the exciting revival of the namesake for this area – the original . James E. Pepper Distilling is returning to the Pepper Distillery for the first time in more than 50 years and will be located at ., running along Town Branch.

3401 Nicholasville Road – Oak Springs Grill Opens

, located at , is now open. The new restaurant replaced Abuelo’s and offers comfort foods – along with a wide variety of bourbons, wines, and cocktails.

360 E Main St – Carson’s Food & Drink

A new upscale restaurant, , will be going into the building that formerly housed CoachCraft. , the restaurant and bar will use 5,000 of the available 10,000-square-feet, leasing the other half of the space. The 167-seat restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner at first, with a plan to eventually serve brunch on weekends.

500 Buck Place – Hurst Business Supply

has moved to its new location at . Hurst moved to its more easily accessible and client-friendly location after spending 67 years at 257 E. Short Street.
